Welcome to the Garden Room
This delightfully bright and cheerful room is south facing and looks onto the charming garden and boasts its own balcony where you can enjoy a lovely glass of wine or a peaceful cup of tea from the extensive range provided and homemade shortbread. Gracefully decorated with Colefax and Fowler Silk curtains, it’s a restful retreat. It accommodates a king size bed and a well equipped bathroom which is just outside the room. The room is equipped with large fluffy towels, bath robes, and luxury bath products and a hair drier.
There is free WiFi. I have a put-up bed and a cot available at a small extra cost on request.

There are some wonderful coffee shops and restaurants. One of my favourites is Oliver’s at the top of Cheap Street. The Three Wishes, The Pear Tree, Bean Shot and Kafe Fontana are all wonderful places to spend time drinking coffee and having a light lunch.
Shops
The town has some very exclusive Antique shops and an emporium and there are regular antique markets and Charterhouse, the auctioneer, has some very fine pieces of art and furniture for sale.
Things To Do
There are many National Trust and Heritage properties in Dorset, Somerset, and Wiltshire to visit and Sherborne is perfectly placed to visit many of them as the town is so central in the county. Dorset is full of gardens attached to The National Garden Scheme for the avid gardener.
